Great Recorder for MP3 format - But Please Add Edit Function

Im recording voice auditions in a pinch. For that I need: 1) MP3 export, 2) Ability to rename the file, 3) Ability to edit out fluffs/noises
VR+ passes the first 2 with flying colors. But why no edit? At least a TRIM function to trim the start and end of files, like Macs own Voice Memos. I want to be able to hit record on my iPhone, then open a mail attachment, read the copy, then stop. That means I have 5 seconds of dead air at the start. If I could trim, then Id give it 5 stars. Almost perfect.
